FUNDACJA SANT-TECH
Pro bono maiore

HISTORY

The Sant-Tech Sp. z o.o. Pro bono maiore Foundation was established on the initiative of the President of Sant-Tech Sp. z o.o. Cyprian Marcisz, who for years has regularly provided financial support to those who have asked him for help in various areas of their lives. He was the founder of scholarships (Fundacja Rozwoju KUL) and international research projects (known as Colloquia Orphica and Greek Manuscripts in Poland). Since 2013 he has financially supported the Hospice for Children in Opole and, as a mentor, has helped the students who dreamt of starting their own business. He also gave his financial assistance to the families in need in Africa.
In 2015 Sant-Tech Sp. z o.o. received the prestigious Przedsiębiorstwo Przyszłości (Company of the Future) certificate, awarded by the Foundation for the Development of Education and Higher Education, among others for pro-social attitude and charitable activities.
“The company, as partner of global institutions leading not only in the respect of quality, but also of their ethical principles (designers, material suppliers, consultants, mentors of TQM in the production process), has the courage to apply the selection not only of the suppliers, but also of the consumers of their products. Companies committed to social responsibility take advantage of the best prices of our merchandise. The company’s philosophy includes also the donation of the so-called Tithe to the needy. The company earmarks 10% of its profits for the most needy. We believe that such a gesture has an impact on our future development. The good things we give to the others, will soon come back to us […]. We organize the financial support for students in need and offer pro bono consultations for business start-ups asking for such support”.

The expression pro bono became the motto that urged the Founder to establish the Foundation. Not only does it work pro bono (in the broad sense of the term), but also pro bono maiore, as thanks to the Foundation this support will be increased.
